- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner position (PMHNP) at Northshore Minds, PLLC in Wakefield, MA
- Seeking Full-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work in private outpatient setting with adults, adolescents and children, to provide medication management and psychotherapy.
HYBRID-REMOTE – Job is in-person and virtual/remote

QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred experience working with children, adolescents, and adults as a psychiatric NP
- Experience and/or strong interest in psychotherapy
- Ability to complete documentation accurately and in timely fashion to maintain clinical care
- Proficiency in psychiatric assessment, evaluation, and longitudinal treatment
- Excellent interpersonal communication
- Organizational skills
- Conflict resolution
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner – Psychiatric Mental Health in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current federal and state-controlled substance certification/registration
- Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing Required
- ANCC – Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP) certification is required
- Therapy and Counseling – Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for career counseling and guidance.
- Psychology – Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Medication management/Psychopharmacology for all age ranges
- Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Parent guidance/Family work
- Remain knowledgeable regarding issues of assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning
- Attend and actively participate in psychiatry team meetings
- Safety/risk assessments
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Assist with marketing efforts and serve as a role model to reflect commitment to vision of Northshore Minds
